Speedlyst measurement service, Terms of Service

Last updated: 18 August 2026

1. What this service is

The Speedlyst plugin for WordPress can measure your site with Google PageSpeed Insights. The measurement runs through a service we operate, so that you do not need your own Google API key. Using the service is optional: the plugin's other functions run inside your WordPress installation and do not contact us.

2. Who operates it

PPC ONE s.r.o., company ID (IČO) 05931631, registered office Korunní 2569/108, Vinohrady, 101 00 Prague 10, Czech Republic. Contact: [email protected].

3. Free use and fair limits

The service is provided free of charge. Each domain may send at most 10 requests within a rolling 24 hours. A request that cannot be verified, or where the measurement later fails, counts towards that limit as well, because the limit is what keeps the service available to everyone. A shared short-term rate limit also protects the service from overload. When a limit is reached, the plugin tells you and you can try again later.

4. What we expect from you

Request measurements only for sites you own or administer. The service verifies that the request belongs to the site being measured by reading a one-time code from a public route on that site. Do not attempt to bypass the limits, automate bulk requests, or use the service to load or attack third-party sites.

5. Availability and results

The service is provided as it is and according to current availability. Measurement results come from the Google PageSpeed Insights API and reflect the conditions at the time of measurement, so they may differ between runs. We do not guarantee availability, accuracy, or fitness for any particular purpose.

6. Limitation of liability

To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for damage arising from use of this free service or from decisions made on the basis of measurement results. Nothing in these terms limits your statutory consumer rights or any liability that cannot be excluded or limited under the applicable law.

7. Changes and termination

We may change these terms or discontinue the service. A changed version applies to requests sent after it is published on this page, never retroactively, and the date at the top always shows the current version. We may block access for a site that abuses the service.

8. Governing law

These terms are governed by the law of the Czech Republic. If you use the service as a consumer, this choice does not deprive you of the protection of the mandatory rules of the country where you habitually reside.
